The climate in Fuerteventura is temperate throughout the year with a prevailing wind from the north.

Maximum daytime temperatures can be 30°C, although for most of the year, the mid-twenties is more typical.
The lowest temperature is about 15°C at night during the winter months, so a light jacket is useful to have with you.

The most changeable time of year extends from December to March, but this certainly does not mean that we do not have good weather during these months.

Most visitors tend to favour late summer to visit Fuerteventura as the wind is noticeably less at this time, whilst still enjoying strong sunshine.  This is the ideal time to come surfing, with late spring and early summer being better for windsurfing and kite surfing.

The little rain that we do have on the island is concentrated in January & February. At this time, the island has a green visage that is not so apparent for the rest of the year.
